Jeremy Lamont
Jeremy has spent the last 20 years in the Entertainment services sector. He gained his initial experience in the late 1980's working with his father (producer, singer/songwriter, musician signed to Universal Records twice w/many TV and Film score credits) approaching major label music companies with song pitches and developing original music. After 7 years working with the leading special event production firm Wayne Foster Entertainment and several other leading firms of the time, and after initializing dance based entertainment for these firms, Lamont launched J&J Productions based in Carmel Valley in 1994, aimed specifically at the special event marketplace. J&J Productions was San Diego’s first entertainment partnership focused primarily on the placement of dancers for special events and quickly became San Diego’s leading supplier in this sector with clients such as Bollotta & Associates, Epic Entertainment, NRG Music and Productions, PRA, Pacific Entertainment and many more. J&J Productions was dissolved in 1997 as Jeremy resigned in order to spend more time evaluating new opportunities.
Upon completion of a 12 month national venture to promote and produce San Diego’s largest “Dance Camp,” a camp providing more than 8,000 sq ft of dance instruction from the top teachers in the world with Big Bands and top DJs for nighttime entertainment, Jeremy embarked on a new challenge and formed his second company, Hop Star, Incorporated in July of 1998. Jeremy attracted some of the top dancers, actors and musicians to assist with this new venture and within 6 months, the company's production services were becoming sought in the market. Similar to J&J Productions, the mission of Hop Star, Inc. is entertainment services but with a larger focus on inspirational entertainment and with an even more strict commitment to service on a "1-to-1" basis. This focus on service is still paramount in Hop Star’s business model and its mission to become 'A Global Source of Entertainment Products and Services That Inspire.'
Since its inception, Hop Star, Inc. aka H.S.I. Media Group has expanded its global support network through the formation of partnerships in Chicago, Ireland, Oakland, Philippines, Canada and more which became operational in 2005. The organization has since then, successfully been producing both nationally and internationally. There are aggressive plans currently to develop additional divisions of Hop Star for TV, Film, Music, Management, and more.
